Meridian has a new commercial real estate development built called the New Village of Meridian by CenterCal which is one of the largest retail developments in the pacific northwest with approximately 846,000 square feet of gross leasable space. This includes retailers, a large gym, movie theater entertainment area and restaurants around a water feature. In the winter there is also a ice skaing area next to the water feature.
Next to the new Village of Meridian is Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park, a new 60 acre park with a water feature in the middle oif the park, there are walking paths around the park and a senior center, with pool tables and meeting rooms, all these amenities makes Meridian a great place to call home and enjoy all the great weather being outdoors walking or riding your bike at the new park.

Kuna was a stop by the Railroad and later named by the Railroad in 1877 by Joseph Cheef. Tjhe population is now over 20,000 with low traffic and no parking meters and good laws.
Kuna has a special bird viewing area in a canyon near the Owyhee mountains located at the end of Swan Falls Road, this area is locally known as the "Birds of Prey" which has a wonderful view of the canyon and Owyhee Mountain Range, Kuna is 18.5 miles from Boise. The weather in Kuna may be a little more windy due to the open range.
